(Referenz)Kaiseki cuisine and Japanese ingredients

What is “Kaiseki” cuisine?  Maybe you’ve heard of it, or maybe you’ve already experienced it.

Tea ceremony is a famous Japanese culture.  At the tea ceremony, a simple meal served before the tea is called Kaiseki cuisine.  The way it should be is not only highly prestigious as traditional Japanese cuisine, but also has a wide and deep connection to current Japanese home cooking.

In this workshop you will learn about the basic composition of “Kaiseki”, the essential ingredients of Japanese cuisine, and then actually try a part of Kaiseki menu.

This workshop is for anyone with interest in Japanese food culture, regardless of their cooking skills.
